Have you ever physically fed the hungry? Have you ever been to any events like that? I'm thinking of something like a soup kitchen type of a event. _________________ The Presidential Candidates |

I've never worked in a soup kitchen, but I did work at a few potluck dinners when some poor people were present. _________________ I got Fiber35 |

I was at a Taco Bell in Duluth, MN on a cloudy, cold day. There was a man sitting at one of the booths drinking a glass of water. He looked like he was homeless. I thought that he was waiting for his order. By the time I realized that he couldn't afford to order someone that was leaving the restaurant ordered him some food and then left before the order was filled. I can still remember the gratitude the man expressed to the employee when the food was given to him. _________________ Spotlight on Orphans volunteers are trying to help as many orphans as possible. I experienced a touching event in Uganda, approximately two months ago. I was in an area doing a report on local living conditions and investigating the success of a new school .
I met another visitor, Omar Patryn, who had brought Canadian candy for all of the children. Seeing the children's eyes as he handed out candy was truly touching. I'm planning another trip to Africa in October.

My grandparents live in a small village. I remember when I was little I was visiting them every holiday. They used to have in the neighborhood a poor family with 6 children. The parents were not working and they didn't really care about the kids, so the children were often left home alone and hungry. My granma and I and some good hearted neighbours were often by their house feeding them or just looking after them. _________________ Real estate guides |
