i agree
giving the homeless or poor food makes them dependent on an outside source which causes them to rely on other people to provide for them

                                      Let’s join together - by Ensemble pour la paix
This song won The Music against poverty contest.

"This victory means to us that music can still unite different people,carrying a message of peace! We are happy because the European message of peace and fighting poverty, that inspired our song, will reach a great amount of people from Stockholm stage." - Ensemble pour la Paix

                                      I'm not really a fan of homeschooling.
It has negative effects on society:

Inadequate standards of academic quality and comprehensiveness;
Reduced funding for public schools;
Lack of socialization with peers of different ethnic and religious backgrounds;
The potential for development of religious or social extremism;
Children sheltered from mainstream society, or denied opportunities that are their right, such as social development;
Potential for development of parallel societies that do not fit into standards of citizenship and the community.

                                      My grandparents live in a small village. I remember when I was little I was visiting them every holiday. They used to have in the neighborhood a poor family with 6 children. The parents were not working and they didn't really care about the kids, so the children were often left home alone and hungry. My granma and I and some good hearted neighbours were often by their house feeding them or just looking after them.

                                      City of God is a really good movie.
It's about two boys growing up in a violent neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro.
They take different paths: one becomes a photographer, the other a drug dealer.

                                      My all time favorite movie is One flew over the cuckoo's nest. Jack Nicholson is the best.
And of course Donnie Darko. It is a strange but really good movie, I loved it.

                                      Fortunately I have never been in that situation.
But I know people who did hunger. It's one of the worst things that can happen to a human being.

                                      Occasionally I do drink alcohol to loosen up and relax, but I never get drunk.
